Hubby is running a marathon

Earlier this year, I started running seriously. I would walk run etc but never really got that far but it's been a dream of mine. Anywho, DH and I signed up for this Team in Training briefing at REI. Well, we walked out there with DH signed up. Why him and not me? The Leukemia and Lymphoma society (LLS) sponsors it and DH has been in remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was just natural that he run. Like most families they have been struck my cancer (my grandmother is terminal as I type with one type of blood cancer but she is hanging on.) I loved that this society has done so much for patients, by providing money to pay for co-pays and research. Gosh if they could just come up with a cure. Then I wouldn't worry about the annual cat scans, will they find it again on my soulmate?
