Okay, its more like Mini-Pops...
This is Pops teaching the kid how to play Mario Kart racing on the Wii. I was taking a bath Saturday and come out of the bedroom to find this. It completely cracked me up. Pops said he and the kid got a new record for one handed driving. LOL
Lots of craziness (whats new?).
Referring between the adult(kid) parents of Luke. Trying to stay out of it. They really need prayers.
DS20 who has given me fits for years (I thought we were on the down hill slide) has reared his ugly head again. He moved out abruptly (at my request) last week. I can't handle the egg shells any more. It really ultimately was HIS decision as he just cannot be respectful. At least not for any length of time. He really needs a good dose of reality. I don't think he understands how good he had it. But ya know, he's 20. Its really time he learns what life is about. I wish him well.
DD14 is finally pulling her Math grades up. This has been a HUGE project all year. Not so great teacher (he's honestly just too smart to teach - he doesn't get the phrase "I don't understand"...its all black and white to him...how can one NOT understand?! *sigh*) However, the new tutor is a GODSEND! We are so thankful for her. Its an adjustment on the budget but so very well worth it.
Speaking of budget: We are doing superbly with the Dave Ramsey Plan. It looks like we are coming in almost $300 under budget this month. That is SO helpful with Christmas right around the corner.
I have been selling things left & right on craiglist. Been very busy meeting/delivering products here and there.
Work is AWESOME. I love my job!
I have been car shopping the past two weeks and made a deal this weekend. I will miss my little Honda (*sad face*) but I am quickly learning that I love the room in the new Equinox! And you can't beat "Candy Apple Red." *Ü*
Luke is with us each and every weekend. We cherish the time with him.
My Spark life...well, its not been in focus for weeks and weeks. I am sorry to my fellow leaders and team owners. I am still maintaining my loss though. That is worth something to me personally, but to you team leaders it doesn't help with the slack though, huh? SORRY!
Gotta run for now.
Til next time...
