2009 day 2 of the year!

things are going well for the last couple days. Have asked my family for help by having them put the left overs away so i do not pinch off handfulls here and there. You see, I love to cook and my food is good. Something I get from my eternally chubby Mom! thanks Mom. when weakness sets in and it does several times/day i just keeo saying.....Nothing tastes good as thin feels and it helps, i also will just STOP and take some deep breaths. You see, it is 99% emotinal for me. I will keep pushing myself everyday so i will be around to see my grandkids.

    Good strategy girl! I use to be the same way when clearing the table I ALWAYS nibbled! Now that I'm on my own and it's just hubby and myself I don't have so many plates to nibble from LOL but I have curbed that because I cook JUST enough for he two fo us so that there isn't any left overs And one thing that helps too is that Hubby doesn't like leftovers! He won't eat them! SO I make sure there aren;t any! Saves me too!
    How many in your family? And what are each of their appetites like. Would it help when you cook the meal and the portions of the dishes to dish everyone's dish out ahead of time so that there are no left overs at all?
