POSITIVE CHANGES

OVER THE YEARS I'VE READ THAT IT TAKES 21 DAYS TO CHANGE A BAD HABIT, I THINK THIS IS SOMEWHAT TRUE. THIS MONTH/YEAR I SEE THE WHOLE WT LOSS THING DIFFERENTLY, THE FOODS I USE TO CRAVE AND ENJOY ARE NOT CALLING MY NAME ANYMORE. I AM EATING NOW TO NOURISH MY BODY, NOT MY HEAD OR MY HEART. I HAVE REALIZED WHEN I AM ANGRY,SAD,STRESSED OR DEPRESSED FOOD IS NOT THE CURE. I NOW DO THE THINGS THAT BRING ME REAL PLEASURE, EXERCISING TO REDUCE STRESS, READ A GOOD BOOK TO RELAX, PLAY WITH MY DAUGHTERS(THEY MAKE ME LAUGH). I THINK OF MYSELF AS WORTHY NOW OF GOOD HEALTH, THAT I AM WORTH INVESTING TIME TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND NOT JUST TAKING CARE OF OTHERS. FOR A LOT OF WOMEN ITS HARD TO PUT YOURSELF 1ST, BUT IF WE DON'T STAY HEALTHY, THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES WHEN WE ARE SICK, OR GONE. I HOPE TO STICK WITH MY CHANGES FOR LIFE, I WANT TO LIVE TO BE 90, AND STILL BE KEEPING FIT THEN!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
