My get up and go has got up and left

This is the most weight and the longest I have stayed with changing habits and needs around eating. Have lost 5 kilo which I am thrilled with but have difficulty seeing me lose the other 18. I have a history of not completing things, this is one thing I need to more for myself than anything else, if I do this I can do anything. Tomorrow is Monday and the start of a new week, it seems like each week now there is a reason (or excuse) to not be so mindful of my eating and exercise. Am in hospital Tuesday for op which may slow my exercise down and then February a total full on month with social events every weekend. I guess if I break each week down in to each day and focus that way it won't seem so daunting. I have the duathalon to train for, also read a piece of writing in the Inspiration and Motivation team around decluttering my life as we do our environments. Nutrition and exercise are an important aspect of my life and I need to place greater attention on these instead of scattered attention (usually when I let myself down which increases the negative thought patterns etc). Shall do some healthy baking tonight so that for snack foods there aren't any chippies or commercial biscuits etc to eat. Also planning my meals for the next week will be advantageous also. Take back the control, feeling better already. I am and can do this. If anybody reads this I hope that all is well with you and progress (no matter how small) is happening for you. Went to a celebration today, a friend's birthday. Their baby daughter is just 3 weeks old, so much to be grateful for and other people with more to endure than I. Here's to progress, no matter how small
