I Think My Appetite is Cyclical

I'm noticing a pattern. For the past 7 days or so, I've been hungrier than I was for the two-weeks prior. I've been paying careful attention, and it's not cravings, it's hunger. I need more food to feel satisfied. My stomach is growling sooner.
I decided that as long as I'm eating nutritiously in reasonable portions, and not eating to the point of feeling stuffed, then I'm going to cut myself some slack. If I'm correct, my appetite will right itself in a few days. I think this is the key to avoid a self-pity binge. I'll keep weighing myself, but I won't expect any progress during this time.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this about themselves.
