Lets take it from the top!!

I have learned that changing your lifestyle does allow a few set backs... Boy! did I have a few of those in 2008. However, I am taking it from the top. I have learned what it takes to lose the weight. At times, especially when you've had a set back, it can be pretty grueling getting back on track. I'm at that stage where I'm re-focusing in 2009, and moving forward.

I'd lost 31 pounds in 2008, but gained 12 back before the year ended. It was kind of like a slap in the face, but this too have past and I've committed to not worrying about yesterday.

Since 1/5/09, I've lost 6.5 pounds, and I feel pretty good.

So, for all of you who have gained a few pounds, and feel like a stick in the mud, pick yourselves up, dust yourselves off, and move forward.

    I like your tips. Lets not allow our setbacks to stop us. A set back just like a detour in your pathway. It just slows you down, you don’t get to your destination on time. All we have to do is to just get back on course. This is a great outlook. Thanks for the insight.

    I'm with you girl!! I have been gaining and it's time to just pick myself up and start over!!! Sometimes it is so easy to have will power and other times I cave. But with God's help, I will do it in 2009. My goal is 50. I enjoyed reading your page and keep up the good work!! emoticon
