My Progress

I am two weeks into the current challenge and doing well. I am down 8.1 lbs. and I am a 1/3 of the way to my goal for this challenge. I am overall down 12.1 lbs. since I joined spark in March almost a year ago. I have recommitted with this challenge, overall it is my fourth. Doing my exercise, which I never have before and maybe one day I will get up to doing some of these totals of fitness minutes that some of the other Cranbabes have. And if I don't that is OK too. I hope to get more fit, have more energy and be able to tackle what life brings me. I have made a more conscious effort in the grocery store to pick things that are better for you. I read the article about whole grains and I am looking at a lot more labels now and making the better choices. Sometimes my husband and my kids whine about the whole grains but they still eat it. Small steps in the end will produce big results. Really when I think about it, it really isn't that hard. Sometimes it is a pain in the behind, but it is not that hard. I think the key for me is tracking my food. It makes my more aware of what is going in my mouth. Here's hoping to a great 2009
