Super Bowl

Well it was a great day! I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular and it was actually a really interesting game. I'm really not a sports fan, but there was plenty of suspense this time around to keep me interested. I made some Hungry Girl recipes for the day and my best friend came over with some food of her own. My husband and I haven't had a weekend where we could just relax in a very long time. It was nice to just sit back, watch the game, and not have to worry about getting a million things done.

I also was glad that I thought to cut up veggies to eat the dips with. Although I did have a few tortilla chips with the bean dip, the spinach dip went great with baby carrots and celery!

I tried to take some pictures of the food, but some of it went too fast to really get a good picture of it! But I hope you enjoy anyway! =)

    All of that stuff looks like it turned out so yummy! Glad to hear you had a fun Superbowl Sunday with your hubby! That's how it's supossed to be :)

    I am also not surprised that the onion rings went so fast - they're definitely a favorite here too.

    I didn't watch the game, but looked at the commercials on the web. I like the one where the Grandpa Clydesdale came to America and got the jobs. So funny.
