Detox diets

Friday, March 06, 2009

In today's article about detox diets i find i have to make comment on this, i am not saying that detox diets are good but certain detox diets are, personally i have been following Jason Vale the juicemaster and i have to say for me it works very well i add to my juices spiralina which is a green plant extract, i also add probiotic capsules and physilian husk, plus wheatgrass. these juices and smoothies are designed to give your body all the nutrients it needs.
So while some detox diets are not safe some are i detox 4 times a year and i have no ill effects from doing this and yes it gives me a boost and kickstarts my healthy eating routine, so i had to have my say one person's opinion is not necessarily right regardless as to their qualifications.
If you detox for 7 days and do it properly adding all the necessary vitamins and minerals it can be very beneficial, any body wanting to give detox a try should get themselves a copy of Jason Vale 7lbs in 7 days followed by any of his books there are several once you have read what he has to say you may be surprised about the foods that we eat and drink that are deemed healthy but are not as healthy as one would think. I have lost 40 lbs since mid november and also enjoyed a great christmas without having to "DIET" as such so while some detox diets are bad there is indeed some very good one's and before saying they are all bad i think you need to research it for yourself.
I am happy with my new found regime it suits me very well and not only am i losing weight but i am more mentally alert and physically feeling great my daughter also started the Jason Vale detox diet in the new year and she suffers with a bipolar disorder which has greatly improved since doing this, read the book for yourself and then make a informed decision.
