The Scale...

Monday, March 23, 2009

Why do I love the scale so much?! I go to Weight Watchers weekly and get weighed in, so why do I need to continue to weigh in at home daily? Today I vow to not weigh myself at home any longer...It throws me off completely. At home, I weigh in at 1 lb less because I ALWAYS weigh in with nothing on. Is this my obsession, weighing in at 1 lb less?? Ok, so here it is...My official weigh in at Weight Watchers is on Saturday mornings. This is MY official weekly weigh in. No ifs, ands or buts about it...I am no longer weighing myself on my scale at home!

LOL!!!!!! Girl you are not the only one. I went through the scale blues last week. I vowed not to weigh everyday even though it is hard. So I do it once per week. I also realized that if I see inches lost then I have acheived alot. Keep up the great work. emoticon

The Scale Can be Your Best Friend Or Your Worst Emeny Depending on What it Says When You Want It To Say It.

I Too Have Had The Scale Blues, So I stop Weighing In So Much.

I Have Let Weight Wachers Do The Honors. I Feel So Much Better Too.

I FIND THAT SCALES ARE NOT ALWAYS 100% AN INDICATOR OF SUCCESS. LIKE YOU i AM DRAWN TO WEIGH MYSELF A LOT. TRY TO PUT IT OUT OF SIGHT AND PLAN A DAY AND TIME TO WEIGH YOURSELF. iT MIGHT EVEN BE SABOTAGING YOURSELF TO LOSE WEIGHT...NOT SURE.

    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Yes it's best to use just one scale to track your weight! The scale addiction can be frustrating, but good for you sticking to one location for weigh-ins.

I know the feeling of being frustrated because the doctor's scale says more than my home scale. Of course, at home I wear next to nothing so that is a factor!!!

Keep away from that scale!!! emoticon

I'm also scale addicted! lol - I try not to but it just is that way. It's the only way I can stay on track. I now only weigh myself once a week and that is usually Monday mornings... There is a scale here in the office and I refuse to use it. My motto is One weigh-in One scale Once a week ! It can be frustrating to get different numbers so I decided to not put myself through it again. You're on the right track!

Lol...oh my goodness. I am with you girl. I used to weight myself every day until I realized that water retention fluctuates every day. So therefore my weight is never going to stay the same day to day. I now weight myself weekly and sometimes bi-weekly.
