What stands about myself is that i have found that i do have the strength to say no to a lot of unhealthy foods that I didn't think i could go without. Being hypothroid i have done a lot of research and reading on this disease and feel that this is something that i can share with others. My strength is so much greater than i thought thanks to sparks and all of the blogs etc. . . and sharing. My greatest challenge has been that even when totally exhausted and under the weather, due to thyroid, that i can ride that bike, or lift those weights . . . and make myself move. This has made me a stronger person in lots of different areas of my life. I am now in charge of me and my life. April is going to be exciting because i can finally take it outside . . . to the bright blue skies -- instead of minus 20, or whatever, -- the fresh air beckons me. Hurrah it's spring !!!
I like this blog! I have also found that I can do things, even with my hypothyroid... I have found that I enjoy the outdoors, more than being stuck inside on the computer or doing household chores, lol. Do I always manage to get outside when it is nice? No, sometimes I get hung up on the computer all day long or have so many things indoors that need done that I'm not able to make it outside... somedays I don't even want to go outside, but maybe that's because of my hypothyroid or I make it a habit of not getting outside and getting the fresh air that I need. I enjoy to work in the flower bed and work on the rose bushes, I also love to go hiking when we have the chance or walking when I have the chance or rather when I make the time for it.

I with you there! I'm so excited that the warmer weather is here (though it's rainy and yucky today). It's so much nicer to workout when it's nice outside.
You should feel really proud of yourself for how far you've come! One of the biggest challenges to getting in shape is the tricks our mind plays on us, telling us we can't resist temptations, or we are too tired to do this or that. When we break through that and find our inner strength, that is when the real changes start to happen.
