Seeing the light at the other end.....

Sunday, April 19, 2009

I always thought that it was going to be impossible to actually be close to that light, however, I feel that I am strong enough and have the will to see it through. It has been a long time since I have been under 280 lbs, but as of today, I am 22 lbs under that weight. I really don't remember how I got to 323 at the beginning, but I see myself at 210 before the end of the year. I know that I need to be taking it one step at a time, and I am doing that, but I can also taste the fact that I am so much closer to my overall goal than I was at the beginning of the year. I get many compliments everyday from friends and coworkers, but that doesn't compare to the way I feel inside and out about myself. I can honestly say that I am proud of myself with what I have accomplished so far, and I know that I can make it to my goal, and keep it there after I arrive.

Good for you Josh. The light is there, now that you are so close you may actually push harder to get it! I know a lot of people say maintaining is harder then loosing, but for me it was so much easier. Once you get where you want to be, you just have to keep it up, if you eat more, you have to work out more. I know once you get there you will be able to maintain it. You're doing great!

Hey there Gato! You can do it. It takes time, patience, strength, and will power. Sounds like you have lots of all of those.
