I feel like a light switch has been turned. Things I have been struggling with all of a sudden seem a bit easier to conquer. Here's why....

Wow, after being awe-inspired by watching Adam Lambert on American Idol last night, I came to a realization, which basically, was right in front of me all this time. I guess I just needed to change my perspective.

Anyway, I have decided to stop making excuses for what I don't have or what conditions arent' right for me to lose weight, and to just start making use of what I do have.

What does Adam have to do with this eye-opener...? Well, it's simple... he is extremely talented, handsome, humble, and living his dreams. Also, he sang the final song for the winner called No Boundaries, which is what I have been living in. So, if
Adam can be happy and live his life, why do I deserve to stay a loser? The only kind of loser I want to be is a FAT-loser!

One more thing, in my 7th & 8th grade classes, we are talking about paradigms (pair-a-dimes_ or perspectives about ourselves and our lives, and choices. I guess, since I need to practice what I preach, I should look at my own life choices.

p.s. I am actually getting hooked on the nutrition tracker, especially since I can actually add food that I have eaten. It's like getting your grades or test results back to see how much fat, carbs, and protien that you had for the day! WoOt, WoOt!

    Thank you bareader. I really don't know how to blog, so I hope my comment posts somewhere in or near the right spot, lol. I am so hooked on the nutrition tracker. I have been more regular about inputting the food I eat, and it is amazing... I never knew just how much fat, carbs, protiens, etc. I was consuming. This makes it easy to pinpoint which meal of the day I need to improve, as well as when I overeat. I love it. By the way, you have a great sparkpage. emoticon

    The nutrition tracker is the best tool on Sparkpeople, at least in my opinion. It's immediate feed back and it really keeps me focused and on track. I know I could not have lost 24 lbs. since January without it. It is a real eye opener, some foods had so many more calories than I would have thought, plus you can see how quickly the calories add up.
