Reaching the 1st 10 lbs!!! Exciting but Scary

So this past week I made to my 1st 10 lbs.
I am excited since I have been working hard to stay on track and keeping myself motivated. I have some new events going on right now and I am afraid that I will lose focus. Well I have to wait and see but between now & then I have to do all I can to stay the course.
I know what I need to do to lose weight. I am doing it and I like it. I sleep better, I feel better. Even my clothes look a bit better, if you can believe. In the past I have always managed to sabotage my efforts somehow but this time I am resolved to be my ally instead of my enemy.
I promise myself that no matter what changes life throws at me I will incorporate them into my new fitness goals and do the best I can. I am committed to live a healthy lifestyle. Healthy & Fit ppl have challenges as well, the difference is how they deal with it. It is totally a frame of mind!
So here is to the next 10 lbs!!!!
PS: To celebrate my loss I went on a 4 mile hike on Memorial Day. I will post a pic later :)
