Weight loss surgery

I have been accepted for weight loss surgery, i am having a vertical sleeve gastroectomy, i am hoping this will happen september/october time but waiting on a date.
In the meantime i am continuing my healthy eating plan and exercise, it is important that i continue even if the weight stays the same, which is what tends to happen i lose 3-4 stone and then i stick and no matter what i do i just can't lose any more, i then get upset and depressed and end up eating rubbish again and putting all the weight back on and some.
This has been happening all my life but now that i am in my mid 50's my health is really suffering i have arthritis in my knees and ankles i have back pain and also fybromyalgia, my blood pressure is high so i need this surgery, they remove 3/4 of the stomach and the part they take away is where the hormone is secreted to tell you that you are hungry so i will never feel hungry again, wow!
The exercise is getting easier and i am really enjoying it as i know that it will help me from having loads of unsightly loose skin, i hope.
I am using my Wii fit for 1 1/2 hrs a day before breakfast, then i attend the gym 3 x a week and also swim 3x a week as well as cardio workout every afternoon and i play tennis on the wii and bowling most day's, so it is all good.
I would love to hear from any one who has had or is hoping to have the vertical sleeve, from what i have read and heard about it seems the best way to go..
