"Aaaaarrrgh,,,,, DON'T EAT THE CHIPS, DON'T EAT THE CHIPS"!! This is what I keep telling myself... Yesterday my husband bought a couple bags of chips and they are sitting in the cupboard. Last night they were calling my name and quietly taunting me. Today they have realized I have ignored their taunts and now they are screaming at me. I swear they are banging on the cupboard door!! It is taking everything inside of me not to open that cupboard and let them out, let them dance around me and jump into my mouth! I know that is what they want to do! Goodness me, just the thought of their crunchy saltiness is making my mouth water! OK,,,, breath,,,, breath,,,,,, don't eat the chips,, it's not worth it!!,,,,,,,,,.....
I went for a walk earlier when the temptation was at it's worst, now I am eating a piece of gum and typing all of you..... I just need to get my mind straight, I need to focus....
All kidding aside,, I mean we all obviously know chips don't dance around us and jump in our mouths, they don't bang on cupboards either, but boy, when we are fighting a temptation it sure can feel like it is doing that, lol...
I will just keep telling myself, "DON'T EAT THE CHIPS, and I'm sure they will quiet down soon"!!

Ok! Chips are my #1 enemy. I need to go to counseling for my lack of control with chips. I try to fool myself when I buy them saying their for the teenagers or their healthier chips. They are my downfall each night. It is a bad habit. Thank you for motivating me - because I will not eat the chips tonight when I come home from work. emoticon

Chips are the worst!!! Once you start, you definitely cannot stop!

You should have your husband move the chips somewhere that you don't know - into the garage, hidden in the basement, something. I don't think its fair that temptation should have to stare you in the face every time you're in the kitchen!

What we've done is buy the small bags of 100 calorie chips, doritos and cheesies and when we get the munchies or cravings for chips, we have one of those. Otherwise we keep a bag of baked lays up on top of the fridge and we're careful to measure them out. They're good chips, but they don't taste as good as the greasy flavored ones so after a while, you don't want em anymore.

LOL....I hope you didn't eat the chips!!!! My husband who eats to gain weight does stuff like that to me all the time. I hate when he buys chips. Salt is my weakness so when you talk about them dancing and jumping in your mouth....oh, man Now the chips in my cupboard want to come out and play. Oh, Right....Don't Eat the Chips, Don't Eat the Chips!!!!!!

    Ok...I won't if you won't!!!!!!
