Having a hard time with this sprained ankle. I can't do my evening walk or mow the lawns or any of my usual activities. I don't have a back up plan of exercise so to keep from gaining weight I've started eating 1000 calories per day for a couple of days. I'm not gaining so that makes me happy. I found some hand weights and have been lifting them while sitting with my foot propped up. Hope that helps. Hope I didn't break my foot.
