sprained ankle

Having a hard time with this sprained ankle. I can't do my evening walk or mow the lawns or any of my usual activities. I don't have a back up plan of exercise so to keep from gaining weight I've started eating 1000 calories per day for a couple of days. I'm not gaining so that makes me happy. I found some hand weights and have been lifting them while sitting with my foot propped up. Hope that helps. Hope I didn't break my foot.

    I so feel for you with the bad ankle! I have been having knee issues and only got cleared to workout last Thurs. Of course in the meantime, I gained 1.8 lbs according to WW scale.
    If you didn't see someone for the ankle yet, I hope you are icing and taking some anti-inflammatory stuff. I hate taking medicine so I can appreciate it if you don't want to.
    You do seem to have a plan for making up the difference in activity level so you go, girl! If you have ondemand, there are some nice stay on the floor videos. Really hope that your ankle is better soon!
