Just a note that I have been under the 10000 steps for the past two days. emoticon

After the deer accident, I have been a little sore, but no excuses. Yesterday it was 2400 steps. How pathetic! I was very busy yesterday at work and when I am busy, I sit at my desk all day long. No walks, not even to Subway or the Smoothie place that is down the street. Hopefully today is different! I am determined and quite obsessed with making that pedometer counter go over 10000 each day.

    This is one of those times that you need to look at the steps you are taking and be happy about them. It may take longer to reach your goal, but listen to your body and don't overdo. It could set you back farther.

    Be kind to yourself. Somedays life is too busy to get the whole 10000 in. On those days shoot for a lower goal and reward yourself if you get there. A rose for your desk.... something tiny that just lets you know that you love yourself.
