well - day nine it is.
i dont really have much to say today. not sure why. but i made it my goal to blog daily and so i am going to. =]
yesterday i made some healthy choices for dinner! i made some grilled veggie fajitas! they were delicious - and a much better option than taco bell! at home i also have vegetarian refried beans. i added a few bites of that to spice it up a bit. but overall im really happy that i made a healthy choice with my food yesterday!
tonight after work i am hoping to go running with my puppy again. its good for both of us - and im actually quite tired now, so perhaps after a run later today i can take a shower and call it a night kind of early. that sounds relaxing. =]
one thing that i have been trying to work on is the need to have a dessert after i eat something. even if its not a 'dessert' in a cake and ice cream sense, i still crave something sweet - especially later in the night. any tips to combat this? ive tried keeping more healthy dessert options around the house, but its hard on the self control... i tell myself that because its healthier i can have twice as much and feel half as guilty. so instead i dont buy anything... and then i just end up going crazy for it... any suggestions? last night i had a sno-cone. only 60 calories and perfectly sweet! yum.
