Have you read Life is hard Food is easy

I wanted to share with everyone this book my friend Nus8t told me about.
It's called Life is Hard Food Is easy and 100 Days of weight Loss. Author is Linda Spangle. Both have lots of good in fo for those who have emotional eating, Because I never ate a whole cake or pizza or huge amount of food I thought I was not an emotional eater...
but then I started to keep track of my eating patterns here on SparkPeople and figure lots of my weight issues were indeed from emotional eating.
These two book are an easy read, they talks about how we get to be emotional eater and what to do about it....lots of the stuff I learned right here on SparkPeople but have been learning lots more.
I'm mainly using these books as a tool to teach myself not to fall back in to old habits. I need to recognize why I poke food in my mouth when I get home from work, or while I'm preparing food or sometimes I don't know why I will stand in front of the fridge with the door open, not hungry but looking I guess for comfort or friendship or love or who the heck knows...
I want to be proactive in my quest to stay healthy and never ever let myself get to 347 pounds again, I never want to be obese again. I know from my past this is going to take all my attention and be with mindful each bite I take....

I thought I'd share this book with you all too, incase like me you are struggling or looking for the answer to why we over eat and why we gained so much weight....loose it just to gain it back

There is also a team here on Sparkpeople who are joining together to go over the book and learn from each other...I just joined so don't feel like you will be behind, it's a go at your own pace team....

    Kitt, I kept thinking the title of that book sounded familiar, so went digging through a pile of books and found mine! I heard about it during my first round on Spark...either heard about it from you, or I found out about Linda Spangle and told the Colorado Women about her. Anyway, I bought both of her books and they've been sitting in a pile until I was ready to look at them. Thanks for the reminder! I might start browsing through them in the coming days.

    You are doing majorly awesome, and it's great that you were able to visit Diane, too. You are a wonderful person, Kitt.
