Finally getting serious..

I finally decided to get serious about dropping these pounds I want to lose..I must admit I hadn't been very serious about it..It seemed like a light came on and I am finally taking some action...

I am working out as much as I can...I decided to pick up some yoga classes and I love them..I feel so centered and loosened up when I leave..I am drinking more water and cutting back on sugar and starches..It is starting to show...It seems like for me the scale is always slow showing the changes, but my inches always are more noticeable at first..Then the scale decides to keep up...LOL..I am fortunate that I really do not have alot to lose and when I stick to it I do drop it fast...So that's where I am at and I had a great week in and I actually lost 2 pounds..I am fine with losing 2 pounds a week, as I will reach my goal weight in less than 2 months..

I think I finally am getting it..I also have made some other life-changing events..For some it may not seem that big a deal but for me it was..I have decided to stop watching TV..I have gone so far 7 whole days..I can't believe how much time I have wasted sitting in front of the TV..As a treat when I completed 1 more week, my treat will be to rent a movie..I have decided I will maintain not watching TV but rent movies occasionally...

So my life has been full of changes which are for the good and I am feeling fabulous about it..

    Well I am getting alot more things done around the house..I am working out alot more..I am reading as well..My day is just as busy..I am enjoying it and really don't miss it at all.... I am able to keep up with my 2 blogs...So it's all good..

    Wow! You rock chickie!

    I don't know if I could do the no TV thing - being home all day, I need something to do. My computer and cat can only provide so much entertainment. But, I bet I would get a lot more done and my brain would be a little more rested. I might try it, but I don't know. I'm addicted! LOL!

    So, what are you doing with all that free time? Gardening? Hobbies?
