how do you relax

I'm sitting here at the computer and wondering what you do to relax.

I read if we relaxed more and got in tuned with our real self we would do better with our healthy life styles.
I asked myself what do I do to relax, sometimes I read, watch TV or play on the computer.
I was thinking why don't I go for a walk to relax, why do I have to walk a 3k everyday, why could I not just take a nice slow walk and enjoy my the beauty around me....
Yep I'm going to get my walking shoes on and go for a nice walk, and enjoy the cool evening here in Colorado, no rush, no worries about how many steps or how fast....

You think about it too, what do you do that involves some sort of exercise to relax....

    I LOVE to sit on m patio into the sun shine and look at Gods creation. I absolutely love star gazing, pilates can be very relaxing. drinking tea wonderful.

    Kitt, I think you have hit on something very important. Some of my favorite times are when I am outside, just ambling along, whether it is a wooded path, or beachcombing, Just taking the time to REALLY soak it all in. You are absolutely right, not every walk needs to be a 5K!

    I really like to go walking also but another one of my favorites is Pilates. I love all of the gentle stretching involved and now I've signed up for a Yoga class.

    Yoga really helps me unwind and is clock friendly, it only takes about 20 minutes. I really enjoy walks with friends too. I'm not sure how aerobic it is we talk as much as we walk but we have a blast and it's great being outdoors. We call it "walk & squawk".

    I like to go walking. I do a workout video for my main exercise and i go walking with my friends for enjoyment. I like to observe the things around me and take in God's beauty. That relaxes me. Enjoy your walk.
