Day 6 of the Journey

So...I really thought I was DONE with the protocol yesterday. Only because I left my drops at home. I continued eating the VLCs that I brought but thought it was OVER since I didn't have drops. Breakfast wasn't what it should have been and because the kids did an investigation with grapes I was tempted to eat a few.

I totally LOST it when I didn't take my 2nd round until 5 pm and had already had my lunch and 2nd fruit. So umm.I went to Sonic for a snack and got something FAR from the protocol guidelines. Drank my water and went to practice. I started to feel bad that I had "cheated" and it just wasn't right. I didn't feel good but I think it was due to my bad day at work. Anyhow..I came home from practice and immediately laid down. When I woke up it was midnight...too late to cook anything or take drops so I just said..tomorrow you CAN'T be mad at the scale if it's not what you want it to be...

Well...I woke up and I'm DOWN 2.8 lbs! That is NOT an excuse to start cheating or eating wild..just lets me know that things are still working...and I could probably be at a greater loss if I would have stuck with the protocol.
