Choices make and shape who and what we are. Making the RIGHT choices, consistently and not just at home, have helped me greatly attain the success I have enjoyed thus far with Sparkpeople.
I love to eat out, but know that I cannot always have EVERYTHING I want and continue down the weight loss path at an acceptable pace. Sacrifices must be made. For example, I love BBQ. But when I go to eat it, I order the sauce on the side, Green Beans rather than Baked Beans, and eat 1/2 a slice of Garlic Toast instead of the 2 provided. Little Changes consistently add up to BIG results over the long haul. I use alternative sweetner in my Tea and NEVER waste calories on Sugar Sweetened Tea. Liquid calories are just a No brainer to me. I'd rather save my carloric intake on "REAL" food.
I have not always made the right choices and the scales & my measurements reflect that when I do not make good decisions. But overall, I am pleased with my results. Are you happy with the results you have attained during your time as a Spark Member?
