CHOICES

Monday, September 21, 2009

Choices make and shape who and what we are. Making the RIGHT choices, consistently and not just at home, have helped me greatly attain the success I have enjoyed thus far with Sparkpeople.

I love to eat out, but know that I cannot always have EVERYTHING I want and continue down the weight loss path at an acceptable pace. Sacrifices must be made. For example, I love BBQ. But when I go to eat it, I order the sauce on the side, Green Beans rather than Baked Beans, and eat 1/2 a slice of Garlic Toast instead of the 2 provided. Little Changes consistently add up to BIG results over the long haul. I use alternative sweetner in my Tea and NEVER waste calories on Sugar Sweetened Tea. Liquid calories are just a No brainer to me. I'd rather save my carloric intake on "REAL" food.

I have not always made the right choices and the scales & my measurements reflect that when I do not make good decisions. But overall, I am pleased with my results. Are you happy with the results you have attained during your time as a Spark Member?

The CHOICE is yours. CHOOSE what you will be.

Your blog is so true. Don't you hate it when people act like the food just jumped off the table and into their mouths. Good or bad, it's always the choices you make that determine the outcome.

It sounds like you are really doing well. Congrats!
