October goals

Monday, September 28, 2009

Today I have been thinking about October goals...if I worked really hard i might loose 6 pounds and reach my goal.....probably not.....I work hard every month.....lol

I need to get some new exercises going, I'm getting board with my bike and walking...time to look around for a new challenge, something to give me a kick ...

Thanks for all who gave me such good support last night, I'm still a bit embarrassed but know that I can only handle so much and then look out......don't get between me and my eating...lol. I'm looking at a new lesson I learned this far in to my goal.....don't skip meals no matter what and eat what you want, in moderation...don't be Joan of Arc....

I had a much better end to this day...

Sleep well and have a healthy tomorrow

    Hey Kitt,
way to go on mixing it up. I am sure you will find something fun to do. How about getting a pair of roller blades. I am waiting for the hubby to set up the wii.

    Kitt,
I changed up my exercise routine by adding weight lifting. Actually paid the physical therapist at the rehab place to show me how to use the machine and a nice routine, then go during open hours. Or you can get free weights and use a DVD at home or resistance bands, I've heard they can be fun. Oh, and I gave my daughter a Salsa dance DVD, that could be fun?

Good blog!!! I think you need to remember you are YOU!
Now you have a slim body and you are healthy, you need to look in the
mirror and see your new look. Take a breather and be happy with what you have
    accomplished.
Do you give your self enough credit? Do you know what a great joinery you have been on?

I believe like one of the other posters said, you might be feeling too much stress from all your success and you need to relax .

I am not referring to your emotional thing on Sunday, I still think you were over tiered and hungry, having one of those Lady days, needing a little hug!

Set some new October goals and be happy!

Myself, I am going to go ice skating, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Glad to hear you had a better day today, Kitt! Don't feel too badly about that episode...everyone has their breaking point. Next time you will probably react differently. Regardless, you are doing great and have worked very hard to get where you are. Perhaps you're feeling some pressure from your success; lots of people look up to you since you've been so successful, and that leads to a belief, at some level, that you have to be "perfect" all the time. This added pressure can make anyone to nuts!

You are doing great, and you don't have to be perfect to be great. Just stay focused on your REAL goal -- a permanent, healthy lifestyle change. Not to diminish the weight loss goal, but don't ever forget that the lifestyle change is the primary thing. Succeed at that, and the rest is yours, baby!

    Big hugs!!!!!

Good for you thinking of mixing it up. I also can't wait to hear what you decide to do to mix it up in October.

Oh, and by the way, you shouldn't feel embarassed at all for crying. I'm a big baby. When I get frustrated at something, I tend to cry and then feel better afterwards.

    You're awesome, Kitt! Take care!

    Hugs,
