Day 51-Day 55

UPDATE: Just when I'm on the lookout for food that are freeze-able so I don't have to scurry like mad when school reopens in 4 months, SP features this article on freezing food:
What would I do without SP?? emoticon

I think I'm a bit off in counting those days? I tracked back and counted time and time again and I got 51 on Wednesday (21st of Oct). I thought that made sense since I started the journey on Sept 1st...but why does that sound so weird?

::21st Oct (Day 51)::
16208 steps, 7.67 miles, 697.9 calories (!!). I made a promise to myself I'd I walked to work everytime I do morning shifts, anytime before 11am. That step count includes all the steps at work too because we're on our feet all shift. I'd only drive to work if my shift starts in the afternoon (too hot to walk then) or if I'll be finishing at night (it's not safe to walk home).

::Day 52 and Day 53::
Both days I drove to work because I start at 11am. To make up for the lost walk, I swam 10 laps (50metres) in the pool.

::Day 54 (yesterday)::
Walked to work again but forgot my pedometer. I woke up late. :( Way to go, me. Psst: I barely even showered. That shouldn't matter right, cos I went to bed after showering at night? Ehem. Anyway, I sped off the door and I know it takes me 30 minutes to walk to work. I was out of the door exactly 30 minutes before my shift and I had to speed. Goodness, the pain in my legs! Distance to work is 1.9km. 5.5 hours at work, and then walk home again another 1.9km. Oh my dear.

::Day 55::
Not much activity so far, the day has only begun. :D
