Fall Mini Vacation

My DH, Phil, and I spent last night af the beautiful Lodge at Geneva State Park. We had a relaxing drive to the lodge. Unfortunately since it gets dark so quickly now, we missed seeing the sunset over Lake Erie.
We had a delicious meal in the lounge. There were some lively people there. One man was celebrating his birthday. The food was good but the kitchen was backed up as there were quite a few people there, especially for a Monday night. Since we had to wait for our food, our waitress did not charge us for the raspberry champagne I had with my tiramasu cheesecake which I shared with Phil.
We had a relaxing evening and slept in this morning. After having eggs benedict for breakfast, I took a long walk around the park taking pictures. Phil sat on a bench by the lake and then rested in the car as he wasn't feeling well enough for walking. It was in the low 60's and I wanted to take advantage of the weather to try to capture the fantastic views.
