State of Happiness...Colorado
Thursday, November 12, 2009
I was watching Regis and Kelly this morning when they mentioned the list of the 'happiest' state to live in. Utah was first and of course Hawaii...then they mentioned Colorado. As a native (almost third generation-my Grandma came over from Italy in 1900 at the age of 6) I wholeheartedly agree. Here are a few samples of the things we have here. These pictures were taken when my sister came out this summer...
The Air Force Academy nestled up against the mountains...
Inside the chapel
This chapel holds space for religious practices of all...Buddhist...Jewish...Cath
olic...to name a few...
Bishop's Castle
Watch your Step
Casa Bonita Mexican Restaurant with caves and waterfalls and divers....
Mirmont Castle in Manitou Springs. I used to live in an apartment here...along with the ghosts
And the Garden of the Gods....this land was home to the Ute Indians, miners, immigrants...
I've just touched on a few of the 'magic' happy spots here...Be Blessed, my Sparkling Angels! Remember wherever you are is the happiest state...enjoy the myriad miracles!
