Working from home..

Tuesday, December 08, 2009

I love it sometimes. But it's more difficult to "be good." Oh I exercise fine. I get up at my normal time, get ready as if I'm going in the office and all. But it's too tempting to over snack. I've always loved my snacks. I have plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables on hand that's for sure. When I'm at work or even home on the weekends, I really don't think about it so much. But working from home is really a challenge. I try to stick to my "work" snack routine. I can keep saying it's OK...and and then IS ok..but not every time. So this is something I will work on. For me being mentally prepared for this each day is 90% of the battle.

I get winter, spring and summer breaks to stay home. My exercise increases, but so does my snacking.

I feel your pain about being home. My days off are always harder to maintain than my more scheduled work days. I find my biggest problem area is getting enough water. Make sure you get enough water everyday and it might help with the snacking.

    Good Luck moving forward!!

I would love to be able to work from home but how do you get started doing that? I actually find that I do really great at home about not snacking because I am busy doing other things that take my mind away from that urge to fill my mouth. Would love to hear about your at-home job.
