Is it Worth it?

Monday, December 21, 2009

After going through my second labor and delivery I asked myself the same question...was all that pain worth it? Darn Tootin' it was!

So this is the question I ask myself on a smaller scale now when it comes to daily activities. Were those cookies worth it? Was the spicy food worth it if I overeat and feel miserable an hour later? Was that TV show worth it when I could have been doing something active?

Addressing priorities is something that will help me out a lot in my venture to get healthy. It needs to be second nature to quickly run through the natural consequences of my actions before I "partake" in that cushy leisure.

So, next time you're faced with that big slice of Better than Sex Cake...ask yourself...Is it worth it?

you are right on target. This is the way I've been approaching my life. If I decide something is worth it whether it be food or some other activitie then I do it if not, I move on. It does take practice and I'm new at it too but I can see the potential for great things coming from it. Way to Go!
