NEW YEAR CHALLENGES

I've been on SP over 2 years. I have lost as much as 25 pounds over this time. Unfortunately I am great at going back to bad habits such as eating too much and not exercising enough.
As I start this year, I am only a short 9 pounds under where I was when I started SP.
I have joined a number of teams which have some wonderful challenges. Luckily I seem to respond well to challenges.
For today, I have done 15 minutes of circuit training which included strength training for my upper body. I get the advantage of circuit training by doing these exercises without a break and do manage to get my heart rate up.
I love Exercise On Demand on Time Warner Cable. I went to the cardio section and found a 30 minute workout that involves daning, walking, and marching. The only problem is that it's hard to find a good match for this type of exercise video as I log my exercise so I have to do my best guess as to what it fits into. The important thing is actually doing the exercise.
For one of my teams challenge which involves startying a healthy streak on SP, I have signed up to do at least 10 minutes of exercise a day. It may not sound like much, but there have been so many days that I haven't done any. If I can just get used to doing at least 10 minutes a day, I can build a good habit. I'm hoping that once I start exercising I'll actually do at least 30 minutes. Consistency has always been my major problem. I'm hoping that I'll do better in 2010. If I screw up, I'll just start another streak. I won't beat myself up for not maintaing the streak, but will start again as soon as I can and not let several weeks pass of not doing anything.
