Kelly will be in Hawaii Today

After spending Christmas with us, my daughter Kelly flew to Denver and spent a few days skiing in Salt Lake City and Reno, NV arriving home late Sunday night. She called me today to let me know she was on her way to Hawaii. The Navy finally came through with her ticket. She's flying American Airlines. They don't charge the military for checked bags which is good since she has 3 bags, all her uniforms and clothes she will need for a few weeks. In several weeks her household goods will arrive. The main thing she has to do now is find a place to live. One of her friends from here is flying down to Honolulu and will be staying with her for the next month. Kelly is not sure how well that will work out, but since she doesn't know anyone there, at least she'll have company.
We gave her a new camera for Christmas and are hoping that she takes plenty of pictures of her new state. We're also hoping she sends us a few pictures.
Before I spoke to her, I did 45 minutes of exercise including 20 minutes of snow shoveling. When she called me, I was still defrosting. Snow shoveling is cold work!
