New Year , New Start

I was able to get my fitness in this week. 100 minutes in three days. One day of strength training. Not bad..... I just wish I could get the eating under control. I cardio myself to death then turn around & eat the kitchen sink. I try not to be too hard on myself, but I really want to kick myself in the booty.

I will try even harder next week!! What I really need is to put into a medically induced coma for about 6 months with no food. emoticon emoticon

Beanie You're on the right path with your fitness and that's the hardest part for me. So just keep it up and don't get discouraged. I'm rooting for you!

Beanie, think about it, eating the kitchen sink can really do a number on your teeth - Stainless Steel - YUK! and Ceramic - well that could really hurt. Seriously, don't be so hard on yourself. You could have eaten the kitchen sink and NOT exercised. I think it's wonderful that you've made the effort. Don't "try", just "do" next week. Eventually it will become a good habit.
BTW how long ago did you join "Managing Diabetes 50+, 50+? I remember you used to post all of the time.

Congratulations on your fitness minutes. That's awesome! You are doing great. When I started, there is no way I could have done the fitness minutes and eating right at the same time, so I started with getting my eating on target. My daughter did just the opposite. We both managed to get both under control after a while. Keep the fitness going and work on the eating. Little changes will get you a long way. Cut back slowly and watch it work! Praying for you.
