tread mill

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

I have been wanting a treadmill but I'm sure you all know they can cost a bundle....
I have been offered a Pro-Form CrossWalk advanced CR. it is model no. PFTL 6130 ....I am suppose to go check it out Saturday,,,so wondering if anyone knows anything about this type of treadmill?
A friend of Gary's has it, she said she loved it but had an injury and can no longer use it.....
it's about 3 years old, she says she only used it a few month before her injury....
any info or comments will be appreciated.

Had a good day, got to take a walk at lunch time today it was 68 here or at least on the bank we walked by...yahooo spring weather in Jan.

I also came home spent some time on the Wii, and tonight I'll be doing some fancy foot work while watching American Idol ...I did my regular work this morning too, so a good exercise day...

So lets keep going strong and have a great rest of the week....

    Hi Kit,
I'm sorry I can't help you either, but if you end up getting it I'm sure you will really enjoy having one in your home. I had one for about 2-3 years and loved it. Good luck and let us know if you get it and like using it.

I have not heard about that kind of treadmill but I bet it would be great. We are looking at getting a new one sometime as well. Have a healthy and happy thursday.

emoticon sounds gr8! if you do get it, i've read to put them on a 1% incline to make it like walking on flat ground. When they are flat, that it's like walking slightly downhill and more impact on the body. I don't know about the newest treadmills, maybe they are better now. Hope you can get it! I think it would be fabulous :)

I haven't heard of that model, but for me, any treadmill would be better than none. I think it would be really nice to have one at home, but I don't have room anywhere for one. Hope you get it and like it.

I hope it's a good model (know nothing about it) -- would be very cool to have a treadmill at home, for sure! It's something else you can do for variety or when the weather is bad outside. I'd get one if I had room in my house for it!

Hey, it's free so worth a try! I like having a treadmill at home even though I usually go to the Y. If the weather is bad, or I'm crunched for time I've got a back-up. You are doing great with the physical activity and I've always felt that was the key to keeping the weight off! Best Wishes. Have a wonderful tomorrow!

Kitt, I have googled that model number, and cannot find it anywhere. Could the model number be different?
consumer reports is a good place, and you could also try the treadmill doctor for ratings.

wish I could be more help. emoticon

Wow you did a lot of exercise today. That's great.
I have a treadmill but not the kind you were talking about. Good luck with it. Hope it works out for you.
