Worry Worry Worry

Worry worry worry, what's the point? If you are worrying about something, it means it hasn't happened yet so you don't even know how it's going to turn out...unless you're psychic, and I have yet to meet a psychic who can actually tell me exactly, play by play, how a situation is going to turn out.
Don't get me wrong, I worry too. But I figured out that I tend to worry more when I'm really tired or I'm hormonal...hmmm, if you go back a few blog entries you'll see those are the same time frames that I emotionally eat...hmmmm . *see the gears turning in my head*
This is exactly what Chris' criss-cross effect is referring to. If you make changes in one area of your life, it will probably affect other areas for the positive. So, if I get more sleep then I'm less likely to emotionally eat...and I've now figured out that I'll be less likely to worry about situations in the future!! That, in itself, will make me a happier person.
Now, don't get worrying about something and planning for something mixed up. Worrying is the unnecessary butterflies you get that can cause a whole lot of stress. This type of anxiety is not cool. But recognizing that a situation could happen and planning for it, but not dwelling on it is the key. So, rather than wonder...where am I going to get the money to pay for *fill in the blank*. It's better to say, hmm, I might need money for this in the future, what can I do to get more money and start working on those ideas, that's the better way to deal with it. It will be productive and you'll probably feel better about yourself for doing something active rather than passive.
Worry has no place in my life. I'm working to get rid of it, and I think I'm winning :)
