Hello SparkPeople.
Today has been an interesting day....
I was up early as usual and did not want to exercise, yep I have days like that....no real reason, just did not want too.
So in came the self talk, you know you need to do something....even if it's for 10 minutes..so I jumped on my bike ad rode 10 minutes and thought okay at least burn 100 calories, then I said okay your doing it so go 30 minutes and then the race was on...I rode 63 minutes . 14 miles and burned according to my bike 407 calories.....so the trick worked again...

then for who knows why I decide to weight myself, well I do it most everyday but only count what I weigh on weigh in day....I was 143 but weigh in day is now the first day of the Month so Monday I was 144..so no loss..but wholly cow this morning I was 142, now how did that happen....I laugh that darn scale really is evil and when will I not take to heart what is says be it good or bad.....but any way wanted to share with you all that YOU CAN'T TRUST THE SCALE.

I'm off to watch American Idol and enjoy my snack ...

    Kitt--- dear oh dear guess I am going to have to come there and take that scale away from you!....if you have decided to weigh once a month then please oh please do not weigh yourself everyday..YOU do not need to..weigh yourself you are good!

    Well congrats on the self talk and getting that big ride in..woohoo.... now do self talk about those scales...

    I can not beleive that mean scale is doing that to you. Good luck and keep going you are so amazing. I can not wait to get to where you are. I am glad we are friends and we chat each day. Have a healthy and happy thursday. Here to you see less than 142 by next month.

    Kitt you are brilliant. I had such a good laugh at your scale story. They are evil things...wonder who invented them...men?
    I also spent 3 days and lost zero, just stayed the same. Then spent 2 more days being really brilliant and my scale at home says I gained a pound. Not likely. But I will have to wait till tomorrow to weight myself on the big scale at the corner shop and see what it says. Its at least a bit more truthful than the one that lurks in my bathroom.

    Wow, Kitt -- 142!!!!! I would be a snot and claim it. LOL!!!!! You continue to amaze and inspire me and I love it!

    And you did 100 cal in 10 minutes? Gawd...It takes me 20 minutes to do it, and that's at the level 4 that's kicking my arse at the moment. You have blazed a brilliant trail and I'm working hard to follow behind you. We'll see how it goes.

    Gosh...142...that is awesome, Kitt! (and you're right, those stinkin' scales are pure evil and should be banned from the planet, which is why I still use mine daily LMAO!!)
