At my most recent attempts to lose, I lost 5 pounds and stayed at that number. It was extremely frustrating, as I did everything bu the book (Weight Watchers)
I am on day 10 of following Sparkpeople and I broke that 5lb barrier. I am down 6 pounds! I know this doesn't sound like a huge deal, but the fact that I am beyond that 5 pounds is huge for me.
I am no longer going to bed hungry, I am feeling really satisfied actually.
Here's what I am finding is working for me.
I ALWAYS track EVERYTHING I eat, and ALWAYS stay within my calorie range. I mix it up all week. One day the lowest calories, the next higher range etc. Always up and down.
One day a week I allow myself to go all the way to the highest calories in the range.
I exercise EVERY day. I tell myself I must do at LEAST 20 minutes of cardio a day. Well I aways end up doing 30-45 BUT if I only did 20 thats fine, I still would be meeting my goal.
I am very excited. I am sure I may need to change things around again as I get closer to my goal, but right now this is working great.
