Someone asked me how I get so much fiber and if perhaps I could list what I eat to get that much. Well, here's the list for today:

Pecans = 1
Oatmeal = 4
Banana = 2 @ 3 ea = 6
Large Apple = 6
Flat Bread 2 svgs @ 3 ea = 6
Salad greens = 1
4 svgs Asian Stir Fry 4 @ 1 ea = 4
Peanut butter = 1
Mango = 3
Yogurt (fiber one has 5 grams) = 5

Not really hard to get the fiber in when you eat fruits and veggies
and breads with fiber in.

Hope this helps some of you?

Other things I eat regularly:

1 C snap green beans = 4
1/4 C Prunes = 2
Fiber One Raisin Bran = 11 (Large amt right there)
1/2 C peas = 3

I eat a LOT of fruits and Veggies most every day

Make an effort to read labels and find the good sources.

    1 C orange slices actually has 4 grams of fiber. Now sure where you got your information?

    Thanks so much for the listing of foods with their fiber grams. I'll be adjusting my foods to raise my fiber intake over the next few weeks. You have a very healthy eating pattern. I'm impressed. I have been surprised to discover that oranges have no fiber; I thought they had something other than carbs and calories. :( BTW - I love the picture of your grandchildren by the lake. I bet the boys guard the littlest angel very well.

    I have made mine so low fat I am fighting to get my fat for the day. I am finally getting enough to be at the lower end of the scale
