Weigh in..could have been better, but coulda been worse

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Well today I have been following SP for two solid weeks. I had a slip up on valentines day, couldn't resist the chocolate. Anyway I am down one pound this week.
A few years ago this would have totally depressed me, I was always looking for fast weight loss. BUT I am encouraged. I actually lost this week, and exercised at LEAST 30 minutes a day.

I am leaving for California Thursday. Luckily the place we are staying has a full kitchen! I am going to shop at Trader Joes when we get there. I LOVE TJ's we dont have one here in our area.

On a side note, it is still snowing here! Had an amazing snowshoe hike yesterday, burned 706 calories!

Hope you all have a great day!

Your hike sounds fun. And you got to burn off all those Vday choco calories. Excellent work! Have fun in California. I LOVE Trader Joe's but sadly, none here.

Congratulations on the 1 lb. loss!!! I'm like you, I used to go for the fast loss - only to gain it back quicker than I lost it.

We don't have a Trader Joe's here. I would love to experience one. We do however have a whole foods store in Huntsville (30 miles away) named Garden Cove that I visit once in a while.

Have a great time in California. How long will you be there? Hope there is a kitchen for you.

Good Luck. My husband and I went to Mexico for 5 days and I am glad that I did not gain weight. It seemed that we were always eating, but we also walked and swam.
