I was reading through a book today called "More Him Less of Me. by Jan Christiansen.
here are a few of her tips....

Thank God for supplying a way out of obesity, Follow His simple plan for eating.

Make up your mind today to never quit.
You will reach your goal.

Whether you are just starting or starting over, determine to finish what you have started.

If you find you are spending too much time in front of the mirror or on the scale , stop and consider whether you are focusing on the right things.

When things seem to difficult ask -- is it the program or your will

Go outside and get a small piece of gravel.
Carry it in your pocket as a reminder to be honest with God and yourself where your eating is concerned.

write down the excuses you are using, then take control of your actions.

lots more but these are going to keep me thinking...

I found a real pretty rock to keep in my pocket....Hoping that it will remind me to be honest with the times I want to poke food in my mouth when I'm not really hunger or have had enough food.....

BTW this is the same book I got my favorite saying..."FOOD SOLVES NO ISSUES BUT HUNGER".
