I walked at the mall again today.. we walked about 100 minutes....so lots of steps. It really is good exercise and it's fun taking about Sparkpeople and eating healthy....it's a good connection to what other people do and how they cope. I decided I'd walk on the treadmill tomorrow as it's cold and snowy and more snow tonight..I hate driving in the snow if I can help it....won't be as much fun but it is do able....
Good day, calories a bit higher but still in my range and I ate mostly good stuff...did have some chips with my dinner, have not had them for a very long time, seemed so salty....
I made a sausage kale soup that was really very good, recipe is here on the recipe stuff.

well not much to say, I did decide not to label myself as a food addict....I am a person who will always need to watch what eat...but portions and moderation seem to work for me and as long as that keeps me where I want to be that is good enough for me.....
I think label's tend to box us in .....I'm trying to become more adventurous so no label's, no barriers to stop me from reaching for the stars.... emoticon

Have a healthy week end
do some thing really nice for your self....
I'm going to make me nice hot cup of tea and watch the Olympic snuggled up with Gary in my jammies and my bunny slippers

night night

    Hi Kitt,

I love the photo with the slippers! So cute!

I agree, that labels are not a good thing. They tend to stick, and they limit us, and even when things change, we tend to think in terms of the label.

    Hugs,

I agree with you Kitt about labels, we are more complex than 1 label or 2 labels.

Your walking at the mall is a great way to exercise, just don't go down to the food court

I'm with you on the labels! Very insightful. If we box ourselves in with a label it's just one more thing we have to fight our way out of. For instance I can't myself an emotional eater. Do I ever eat out of emotions? Sure. But not all the time. There are times I've been too upset to eat! Thanks for sharing your good day with us. It never fails to bring a smile to me. I love those bunny slippers!

Good for you, Kitt! Put those labels where they belong -- in the trash!!!!! Treadmill sounds like a good idea. It's snowing up here as well, so I'm thankful for my exercise bike!

You have such an up-beat attitude. I wonder if it's because you are so close to your goal? Cause it seems so far off and impossible to me.
