Yep it was Monday today. I got up early and rode my bike for 63 minutes, nearly 13 miles...did a bit of weight lifting, stretching and then off to shower. It was a good morning workout and I felt really good...I weighed myself as I do each morning and 144 this morning, not a problem.
Then I had some time to finish my spark stuff before waking Gary up.....I had time to think...

I don't feel as light any more, I don't feel thin any more, not that I feel fat or heavy, but I don't feel like I use to when I was loosing weight, even though I have lost a little bit...I think I'm feeling normal, or what I should weigh.... then I read an article that says for me I should be at 136 or less to not be in the over weight class...it is a bit of a let down to still be in the over weight range......that darn BMI...

When I got to work and chatted with my friend who has lost over 120 pounds he tells me to not fret about the BMI, he tells me that according to the BMI charts people like Tom Cruse are over weight or Arnold Swartin what ever( can't spell that name) he says that it's just and average and most athletic people are in the over weight range according to the BMI chart..seems to me I had heard that before...especially women who have the pare shape, with our weight being in our beautiful round butts and thighs.....so now I'm feeling better and then the words of Coach Dean start to ring in my brain....."find your HAPPY weight" so now I am feeling a whole lot better...

I had a good day at work, and found out we are going dancing tomorrow so now I am pumped..line dancing and they pay me to do it.....what else could a pear shaped women want..I never want to be other than what I am.....


so there you have it, learn to be what you are and be proud of it....

one more thing, I was training a new girl today who asked me, how do you eat so much and stay so trim.....she said trim, not skinny but trim......I laughed, if only she knew...tomorrow I take the before picture in to show her and the other new guy who can't believe I weight nearly 350 pounds......

    You are such an inspiration. I am really happy that you talked with someone and started feeling better. I am sure if you discuss your weight with your doctor, he or she will tell you that you are doing just fine.

    You are making great discoveries about yourself now that the weight loss part is over and maintenance is here.

    Know what you mean by the BMI, as my back disk compress, I get shorter and therefore my BMI goes up

    glad you ended up with the positive... you are working it!
    your feeling might have just been the time of day.. I always feel (heavy) after a good workout lol think it is the sweat?

    yes i wish there was some other formula than the bmi to tell you your weight you are suppose to be accorcing to my wii i suppose to weight 120 i weigh that once upon a time but that was before kids.

    I'm only half way to my goal weight and doing fabulously, but I also had that feeling of not feeling as "thin" as I did the last time I lost the same 20kgs. Strange isn't it? I'm not letting it derail me though. While I don't feel as thin and I used to at the same weight, I definitely fit into the clothes from before so its weird. I'm just soldiering on till I get where I'm supposed to be.

    Good for you, Kitt!!! The more I read, the stronger my opinion that the BMI needs to be tossed. One size does NOT fit all and that is exactly what various people try to do with the BMI. It's a piece of crap, in my opinion.

    You are at a good weight for you, and you have done a tremendous job getting there. Celebrate as you continue getting used to your new body. You are totally awesome!!!
