...but an excellent discovery!
I can't do it all!
My work out plan this week was desimated when I lost a night helping out a good friend. I'm so very glad I did, not to give the wrong impression! The problem is that I didn't have a contingency plan that left me enough hours in the day! I'm in the midst of working 6 days this week and I scheduled myself for almost 2+hours of working out some nights! What was I thinking? I'm only into week two of my 8 weeks to hotness plan, and I have failed! Did I mention my house is a disaster?
So, I'm picking up the pieces and taking a new approach!
Instead of doing weights this week, since I've already missed 2 planned weight days, I'm going to focus on getting my turbo jam and dog walks in. Starting next week, I will start doing one of Jillian's exercise videos that uses dumbells and only is 20 mins long.
Thus, a 45 min 3k dog walk + 20/30 min Turbo Jam + 20 min Jillian is still a heck of a lot easier to manage! Not that I'll be doing all that every night (with the exception of walking the dog!)!
I am still trying to find balance and this is an adjustment period. I'm not going to think of this as a failure, but rather as a learning exerience. On a positive note, I have made good on my commitment to dog walks and turbo jam this week! And next week will only get better, I hope!
