Hope I'm Strong

Sunday, March 14, 2010

My birthday isn't until Wednesday, but my Mom is having a dinner for me today and all of my family is coming. She called the other day to see what kind of cake I wanted. I said Angel Food (because I thought it would do the least damage calorie-wise). She called last night and said that she baked her favorite chocolate with chocolate frosting. It is the best cake in the world and is so moist. She also makes not just chocolate frosting, but fudge frosting. To not have any would break her heart, so I plan to have a very thin slice. Wish me luck!!! (actually I'm not worried, I have NOT lost my love for chocolate, but I find that a little goes a long way.........I think I'm changing!!!)

Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY a few days early. Just a little of that cake will make you & your mom happy. We know how important it is for mothers to make a special meal or treat for a "child". Sure she is not thinking of the calorie count, just the way you used to really enjoy this treat. ENJOY! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Savor your small taste--food is still to be enjoyed & this was made with love for you.
A little can certainly go a long way. You can have your (slice of) cake & eat it too. emoticon
