My momentum was building... I was seeing and feeling some progress. Then -BAM- it hits me! A weekend of mediocre nutrition (mostly out of convenience), then a Red Wings game with draft beer and nachos, an extra nibble of snacks here, a small piece of cake there. Ugh! I've been hoping that it wasn't all adding up too badly... but alas I am up 2.5 lbs since my last weigh-in. I noticed last night that this has coincided with my activity level on Sparkpeople (especially my nutrition tracker) and my procrastination with starting a fitness routine.
This was an eye opening experience that proves I am not as resilient as I was in my late teens (last time I lost serious poundage) and I am very carb sensitive. BUT - I am not a quitter. Back on the horse and this time wearing a saddle. Yeeeeehaw!
