A Good Example???

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

This made me think:
"If you can't be a good example~then you'll just have to be a horrible warning."

As I age and try to be as healthy as I can possibly be, I think that the lesson that hits me on a daily basis is...........and I would especially urge young people to learn from it.......

Always stay on top of your health and fitness. If you never let go and allow yourself to gain weight or to become a couch potato, your health both mental and physical, won't be as easily compromised. You won't have the dangerous side-effects of obesity and inactivity and you won't have to battle back to a previous healthy state.

I wish that I would have been given that advice when I was young.

Being given good advice and following it are two separate things!
Don't fall into the second category, which most people (ha! I ought to know!) do.

I wished I had learned at an earlier age too instead of this late in life. I sure would have felt better emotionally and physically. But that the past and I'm just looking forward to the good days ahead. PJ
