I'm going to make this short
I was not going to blog tonight but figured I have shared most every step of my weight loss journey the the bad and the ugly...
Early this morning about 3am I woke up to go to the bathroom , you can't drink a gallon of water and get through the night, well at least I can't
any way I woke and felt a bit shaky, a bit off balance, had to hold on to the dress to the bathroom....okay I was okay did what I needed to do and then WOW I left dizzy, light headed and thought OMG I'm going to faint, I put my head down on my knees and took some deep breathes.....wanted to call Gary but could not find my voice, about 10 minutes I felt a bit better, made it back to bed, was scared as I thought did I have a stroke, is it low blood sugar, low blood pressure...not sure what it was but I did fall back to sleep...woke at 4.30am my usual wake up time and once again felt week, not so dizzy as light headed but thought get up get moving and get your butt on the exercise bike....remember NO I threw back the covers but could not sit up ....then I got sick to my stomach, the room started to spin . okay I told myself don't get up, if I moved my head , I got dizzy again.....oh darn it must be that middle ear thing I get every once in a I laid there till I felt better .. I got up at 5.30am....I did not think it was safe to ride the bike...but I did do my weight training exercises.
At 6am. I woke Gary and rested a bit more, then at 7am I got ready for work, ate breakfast and felt better, still a bit weak....not my usual self...I did make it through work , went to the art center and took the girls for a walk...came home made dinner and got my things ready for tomorrow, we are having a St. Patrick's Day Party......
Now it's 9.15pm and time to go to bed....I have my work out clothes ready to go. I'm still not 100% but maybe a good night sleep will help..if not I'll take it slow....there is not much that can be done about the inner ear trouble, I just have to work with what I can do , take it slow when I have too and hope it passes soon....

And no I have not sent in my before and after picture yet but think I have till the end of the month.....thanks for listening ...

night night

I had something very similar to this and the had vertigo with it so badly that my husband took me to the ER. Had a very good doc there that determined I had what he called "Ear Rock". Apparently calcifications in the inner ear become dislodged at times and will upset the balance, giving you all those awful sensations. There is an easy treatment for it, which involves tilting your head from side to side (in a prescribed fashion). If you'd be interested, I can find a web site that describes it better than this. It might be helpful down the road???

Kitt, I hope that you're feeling better. If you are not, please call the dr. You need to take care of yourself.

I would still visit with my doctor and let him know.

Inner ear dizzy is sure not fun, I have had it a few times. Does your ENT have any advice? I do take an antihistamine and that seems to help

That inner ear stuff is scary, and all you can do is lay low 'til it passes. I have Meniere's disease in right ear (or might be left; doesn't matter). Had one attack of vertigo that lasted an entire day once -- very creepy, and it was hard to do anything. I spent most of that day in bed because moving my head made me fall over.

You were wise to rest and take it easy. "No excuses" is fine, but sometimes there are legitimate reasons to alter the routine. This is one of them. I'm glad you listened to your body!

Hope you are 100% better tomorrow.

that sounds scary...although you think it may be your middle ear, i'd see a doc to rule out anything serious and for peace of mind. take care of yourself. emoticon
