(Finally!!) Started Running Again!

Last week I (finally!) started running again. While I'm still easing into it, I have to say that it feels good to be in motion at that level once more... it's been too long. Now that I'm able to incorporate running into my daily exercise routines, I expect to start seeing some rather significant weight loss in the next few months (nothing does it for me quite like running).

I've also added a weekly Zumba class to the mix, which is great because I go with a couple of good friends; it's not only a fantastic workout, we have a ton of fun and get some socializing in on a weekly basis too.

I'm finally feeling really good about this whole weight loss/reclaiming my fitness journey. I know there will still be frustrations and hard days ahead... but for the first time in a very long time I'm feeling my old self (my active, fit & vibrant/sassy self) returning... I'm feeling as though I've really got what it takes to succeed. And that's a great feeling!

    Terrific! Zumba sounds like a lot of fun and it's great you are back out running. I've been starting again too...this time starting slower as last year I was plagued with shin splints and some sort of problem with my heel.

    But not this time so far! Let's go get this done!
