I got an e-mail today that asked me if I ever take a spark break....

I had to think about that for a while.. the answer is no...it has never dawned on me to take a break..if living a healthy life style is truly my new way of life... , would I take a break from life...
for me and the changes I have made over the last 3+ years are the way I now live.....would I take a break from brushing my teeth, or combing my hair....would I stop bathing ..the answer of course NO...
so make changes that you can live with, find a way to eat healthy and in moderation, so you feel satisfied and please with what you eat and find a way to be more active that is, YOU, something you can do...something that fit in with your lifestyle.....make choices that work for YOU not against you.....
come to some terms with yourself, find a happy place where you can thrive and live..
you might never be a size 6 o 2 or ever be a model...just find that spot where you can be at peace with yourself......

So I am on a mini vacation and plan on staying right where I have found peace and contentment with my self.

Have a healthy and active Friday

I just love what you said " would I take a break from life... ", that is a great way to look at it. Taking a break means you are are a diet just for diet, not for health.

Excellent answer, Kitt! Living a healthy lifestyle is different from being "on a diet." The person who asked the question probably has the "diet" mindset. People take breaks from dieting. But, like you said, they wouldn't take a break from personal hygiene or things of that nature (well, most people wouldn't LOL) so they wouldn't take a break from healthy habits.

    I love your blog!
